Emmy is the Program Manager at TerraCorps. In this role, she assists with program support, member support, partner support, and communications and outreach. As a TerraCorps alum (2021), she is excited to draw upon her firsthand experiences to enhance operations and support the team.

Emmy holds a B.A. in Environmental Science with a concentration in Conservation Biology from Clark University in Worcester, MA. Her professional journey began in college, where she conducted research in the Foster Baker Lab, studying the behavioral evolution of threespine stickleback in response to an increase in invasive pike in Alaska. In other research, she explored the benefits of increasing species diversity in urban spaces and analyzed the rise in food insecurity on college campuses during the pandemic. Following her year of service with TerraCorps, Emmy worked as a Data Manager at Rhode Island Hospital in the Oncology Department.

Emmy identifies with she/her pronouns and has Irish/Scottish/German heritage. Being raised in a wealthy, predominantly white small town in Ohio, Emmy acknowledges the privilege of growing up with access to clean, well-maintained green spaces. She is deeply passionate about fostering community well-being, promoting sustainability, and advocating for increased land access for all communities.
