TerraCorps members work to protect and steward land for a broad diversity of community needs across rural, suburban and urban landscapes. As a Member, you will work directly with a community-based organization to support the healthy growth of their communities and environments while building your own professional network and skillset.

Benefits of Service in 2022/23 Service Year

1200-hour service member positions will receive:

  • An AmeriCorps living allowance of up to $13,320. That’s $740 (pre-tax) paid bi-weekly over the 8-month term of service
  • $4,546.50 (pre-tax) Segal Education Award upon successful completion of service term
  • Health insurance coverage
  • Partial child care reimbursements
  • Forbearance of most federally-guaranteed student loans, and payment of interest accrued during service
  • Qualified eligibility for SNAP benefits in RI and SNAP/HIP benefits in MA
