Hi, I’m Mariel Hohmann. Since graduating with a degree in Environmental Science from Wesleyan University in 2018, I’ve worked on sustainable farms throughout New England, managed the produce department of a local-food-oriented market in Los Angeles, and practiced fine gardening in the Bay Area. Now I’m back in Western Massachusetts, hoping to build a deep relationship with the natural world and local community here through my service year with TerraCorps. I can’t wait to learn more about the native plants and ecological systems of the Hilltowns, while contributing to the conservation of their wild lands.
