Hi, I’m Katie, and I’m from Grafton, MA. In May of 2023, I graduated from Middlebury College with a major in English and a minor in Environmental Studies. I love pigeons, poetry, and pickles, especially of the cucumber or beet persuasion. I am grateful to be serving as a Community Engagement Coordinator with the Community Harvest Project. I appreciate the tangible outcome of their work—that their farming engages and educates volunteers and produces fresh fruits and vegetables that feed local people. I hope I can support their mission to ensure access to healthy foods and eliminate food insecurity for everyone, while learning more about myself, Grafton, and the larger Worcester County in the process.
