My name is Fern Stidham, and I’m excited to be serving as the Community Engagement Coordinator for a wonderful organization called Community Involved in Sustaining Agriculture, also known as CISA. I’m originally from Cape Cod and moved to Western Mass for college, where I earned a degree in Environmental Studies from Mount Holyoke. I have a professional background with environmental education, land care, horticulture and cranberry farming. CISA’s work encompasses many of my interests and I’m looking forward to serving with them on outreach programs and furthering food access in my community. In my free time I’m an avid gardener and stained glass artist, so you may also see me at local craft fairs or working in my plot at one of Amherst’s community gardens!
