CEC/YEC with Speak for the Trees, Boston
Natalie, originally from St. Louis, Missouri, is a recent graduate of the University of Dayton with a bachelor’s in Environmental Biology. She has experience in environmental education, community engagement, and kayak instruction. In college, Natalie was part of a program called River Stewards where she and a group of fellow students wrote and illustrated a children’s book about the Great Miami River Watershed. She is interested in environmental justice and land use and is hoping to continue exploring the intersections between social justice and environmentalism. In her free time, you can find Natalie hiking, kayaking, seeing any musical she can, and always reading a good book. Natalie is serving as a Community Engagement/Youth Education Coordinator at Speak for the Trees in Boston and is excited to continue doing community and environmental work through the lens of urban forestry.
