LSC/CEC with Merrimack River Watership Council
Maya Sterett is a recent graduate from Mount Holyoke College with a bachelor’s degree Environmental Science. Raised in Colorado and Virginia, she has found an appreciation for both the mountains and the ocean. Her passion for environmental science and outreach drove her to help her college develop a blue print for residential composting. In the summers, she served as a research intern at both Maine Audubon’s Project Puffin and Point Blue Conservation Science conducting seabird research. In her free time, she enjoys hiking or walking in the park with her camera, or listening to NPR podcasts while beading. She is greatly looking forward to working along the Merrimack River and with the communities along its banks.
