May Grzybowski

LSC with Mount Grace Land Conservation Trust

Pronouns: she/her

My name is May and I grew up in the woods of Franklin County. I graduated from Bard College with a B.A. in Historical Studies. In college I found my passion for the environment while involved in citizen science water-quality projects on the Hudson River Watershed. Post-graduation I spent two years in the JET Program, teaching English in Japan. After returning to the states, I worked for Nature’s Classroom. There I taught residential environmental programs, focusing on sustainability and ecology, but most importantly sparking children’s curiosity for the natural world. My desire to learn more led me to TerraCorps. I am so excited to serve as this year’s Land Stewardship Coordinator with Mount Grace Land Conservation Trust. In my free time you’ll find me traveling and camping in beautiful places, reading, petting cats, and taking photos of cool things I find in the woods.
