CEC/YEC with Westerly Land Trust
Joe is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island in Aquaculture and Biology and participated in several research studies during his time there evaluating anthropogenic effects on the ecosystem services of oysters and tracking harmful algal blooms. He has worked in environmental testing labs monitoring waste water for pollutants, and was most recently employed in the world’s only indoor recirculating European Sea Bass farm. Joe is a dedicated environmental activist and has served on the Board of Directors for multiple organizations. He is excited to turn his advocacy into a career as the Community Engagement/ Youth Education Coordinator with the Westerly Land Trust. In his free time, Joe enjoys hikes, marvel movies, and comic books.
