LSC with The 300 Committee
Colleen is serving as a Land Stewardship Coordinator for The 300 Committee Land Trust in Falmouth, MA. She received a bachelors of science degree in forestry, with an emphasis in soils and a minor in geospatial analysis, from Humboldt State University in 2019. Her most recent work experience was as a field research technician for a climate change/drought study through HSU in the summer of 2019. In the past she has participated in two NSF Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) programs through Harvard Forest and NC State. Her interests include foraging, plant ID, soil ID, backpacking, and reading. Since she is originally from Los Angeles and received her education in Northern CA, she is having a lot of fun learning how to ID New England flora. Colleen is excited to serve with T3C and to get to know more about this new place she calls home!
